Victorian Club Cricketer of the Week Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Participants and compliance with terms:
(a) The Promoter is Victorian Cricket Association (ABN 28 004 128 812) located at 86 Jolimont Street, East Melbourne VIC 3002.
(b) Information on how to take part in this offer and other details contained on Twitter and Facebook form part of these terms and conditions.
(c) The terms and conditions apply to all participants in the promotion, and in the case of a child under 18 years of age winning, the parent or legal guardian can accept the prize on their behalf.
(d) This promotion is open to residents of the state of Victoria only.
(e) Players and staff of Cricket Victoria, and their immediate families, are ineligible to win.
(f) Participation in this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
(g) Participation in the promotion must be in accordance with these terms and conditions.
(a) Thanks to Gray-Nicolls, Cricket Victoria is giving participants the chance to win one $50 Gray-Nicolls voucher (herein referred to as the 'voting prize') for themselves simply by voting in the Victorian Club Cricketer of the Week Competition 2016-17. The Victorian Club Cricketer who receives the most votes will also win one $150 Gray-Nicolls voucher for themselves (herein referred to as the 'cricketer prize') and the cricket club that they represent will win a signed Commonweath Bank Bushrangers bat from season 2016-17.
(b) The participant must vote for their favourite cricketer via the online form at https://cricketvictoria.wufoo.eu/forms/k1pjldnk0zs0o6h/ to be eligible for the voting prize, or already be pre-selected as one of the Victorian Club Cricketers of the Week in season 2016-17 by Cricket Victoria to be eligible for the cricketer prize.
(c) The participant must also fill out their name and email address at the bottom of the form to be eligible for the voting prize.
(d) Cricket Victoria will randomly draw one winner from all votes received to award the voting prize. The person with the most votes at the end of the offer period will win the cricketers prize.
3. Offer limitation
(a) All entries for this competition close at 11.59pm on Thursday, April 27, 2017 AEST.
The voting prize winner of this competition will receive a $50 Gray-Nicolls voucher courtesy of our participation partner Gray-Nicolls. In addition, the Victorian Club Cricketer that receives the most votes at the end of the offer period (the cricketers prize) will receive a $150 Gray-Nicolls voucher. The cricket club that the winning club cricketer represents will also win a signed Commonweath Bank Bushrangers bat from season 2016-17.
The total prize pool for this competition is AUD $450.
5. Other terms
(a) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of persons taking part in the promotion.
(b) The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
(c) If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
(d) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees (as defined below) or other applicable law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion. In these terms and conditions, 'Consumer Guarantees' means the consumer guarantees which apply to the supply of products or services under the Australian Consumer Law set out in Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as amended from time to time, or other similar legislation of a state or territory of Australia.
(e) To the fullest extent permitted by law, the participants release and will release the Promoter from all claims that they may have or may have had but for this release arising from or in connection with their participation in the Promotion and will indemnify and will keep indemnified the Promoter in respect of any claim by any person arising as a result of or in connection with participation in the Promotion.
(f) The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the promotion is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
