21 Gifts in 21 Days

This initiative runs for 21 days, beginning Wednesday March 1, highlighting the fantastic work volunteers, community partners, clubs and associations do for the game and the people involved, whilst also promoting Harmony in Cricket.

Market and Community Engagement Manager Emma Staples said that cricket’s cultural diversity and community ties is one of the game’s greatest strengths.

“The diversity in cricket is what makes the game so great. It’s a game for all that fosters culture and embraces differences. Harmony Day and the 21 gifts in 21 days is a wonderful way to acknowledge those who continue to make cricket accessible to everyone,” Staples said.

Each of the 21 volunteers will receive a select gift that ranges from community equipment, Vic Spirit and Bushrangers apparel, and BBL merchandise.

Be sure to keep an eye out on Cricket Victoria and Harmony Cricket social media channels for Stockland #21Gifts21Days.

About Harmony Day
Held every year on March 21, the day coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity, and seeks to engage people to participate in their community. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

You can choose to wear something orange on March 21 to show your support for cultural diversity in Australia and in cricket.
