Cric Hit in Schools Program
Cricket Victoria, in conjunction with the Victorian Primary Schools Sports Association, is offering Victorian Primary Schools an opportunity to participate in an exciting new girls’ cricket program – “Cric Hit for Schools”. This new program is also being supported by Cricket Australia.
Closing dates for application is March 20, 2007
“Cric Hit for Schools” is a statewide girls’ cricket program to be conducted in Term 3 of 2007. A maximum of ten schools in each Region are able to participate in the inaugural year of the program. The program would run for six weeks for each of the 80 participating schools. Each participating girl is to be provided with a ‘CricHit’ giveaway pack (contents to be determined) and a certificate. Each participating lead teacher will be provided with a shirt & cap to identify them as the group leader.
Cricket Victoria is very excited about this new program and in partnering with the Victorian Primary Schools Sports Association to increase the opportunities for primary school girls to participate in cricket.For further information contact Melanie Jones on 9653 1182 or email mjones@cricketvictoria.com.au

With no rain in sight for all of winter it was more than bad luck that the first CricHit Carnival for 2007 was washed out. With only one round completed it was decided that the day be rescheduled in term 4.
