Deaf Cricket

 

Want to play cricket or volunteer at a cricket club?

Are you deaf or hard of hearing?

 

Melbourne Deaf Cricket Club was established in 1880/81. The club currently has two teams, both playing in the Eastern Cricket Association competitions every weekend over the summer cricket season. The teams are calledth 1sts Team and the 2nd Team. The 1st Team, is the higher grade team and plays in the 1st Division of the Limited Overs Competition. The 2nds Team plays in the 4th Division of the Limited Overs Competition. Trainings are held at Hays Paddock, East Kew on Thursdays from 5pm.

 

The club also promotes a social atmosphere holding bbqs every Thursday and Saturday evening.

 

Melbourne Deaf Cricket Club welcomes any new members as players or volunteers.
