Cricket Victoria's Grants Program

General Facilities Grant

The general facilities grants assist with upgrading existing turf wickets, installation and upgrades of synthetic centre wickets and practice nets.

Only Victorian affiliated cricket clubs can apply. For full details on eligibility and guidelines, please download the guidelines (below).

Applications must be submitted on the application form with all supporting documents attached.

Drought Response Grant

The Drought Response Grants assist with water tanks, pumps and associated plumbing that assist with the watering of current turf centre wickets.

Only Victorian affiliated cricket clubs can apply. For full details on eligibility and guidelines, please download the guidelines (below).

COMMUNITY FACILITY FUNDING PROGRAM

 

Open Dates: 7 June 2010 to 27 October 2010

Minor Facilities: Up to $30,000
Major Facilities: Up to $500,000

Tips for clubs:

  • You must apply with your local government. Speak to your council before preparing an application.
  • Promote your club as a community. Particularly if you club activitely engages Indigenous, disability, female and culturally diverse communities.
  • How will the upgrade of your facility increase player and volunteer participation at your club.
  • Prepare a costing of the project with quotes.

    TRAINING & EDUCATION

    Sports Leadership Grants & Scholarships for Women
    Training & Education grants & scholarships are currently available for women in administration, coaching, officiating, media and governance.

    UNIFORMS

    OUR CLUB OUR FUTURE - Sporting Uniform Grants Program (Funding Round Two)
    Local sporting clubs can access up to $1,000 for the purchase of essential uniform clothing and footwear. Funded by the Victorian Government, clubs can download applications from
    www.grants.dpcd.vic.gov.au or request an application form by calling 1300 366 356.

    FACILITIES

    Drought Relief and Synthetic Surfaces Grants
    Grants of up to $100,000 and $300,000 is available for drought response and synthetic surface facilities for cricket clubs.
    Clubs must apply to their local council.

    Eligible projects include, replacing turf with synthetic surfaces, provision of recycled water to sports fields, development and use of alternative water sources and/or water run off haversting and storage initaitives.

    TALENTED CRICKETERS

    Local Sporting Champions Program
    Financial assitance is available to sportsmen and women competing in a state or national sporting competition endorsed by a national sporting organisation. Grants of $500 to $3000 are available to individuals or teams to assist with the cost of travel, uniforms or equipment.

    Players aged 12 to 18 participating in Cricket Victoria's Pathway program, Victorian All Abilities Cricket Carnival or Cricket Australia's Imparja Cup Tournament or INAS FID Tri nations series are eligible to apply.

    COUNTRY

    SRV Country Action Grants Scheme
    Up to $5000 is available for grassroot sport and recreation clubs in regional or rural Victoria for projects which: Help organisations operate more effectively, fund for attendace at relevant training course, help provide more accessible sport and active recreational activities for local members. more

    EMERGENCY

    SRV Emergency Facility & Equipment Replacement Fund
    Aims to assist local clubs who have had destroyed essential sporting/fird aid equipment due to fire, theft or flood. more

    VOLUNTEER

    Victorian Volunteer Small Grants
    Encourages Clubs to attract new volunteers from diverse backgrounds and create new volunteering opportunities. more
