How Do We Get Started?
- Appoint a Group Coordinator and an Assistant Group Coordinator to oversee the program.
- Complete and return the group application form prior to August 29, 2008
- The Group Coordinator or Assistant Group Coordinator could be on the Club / Association's junior committee or can be a volunteer or parent.
- Determine a venue, day and time to conduct the Program - this should be done in consultation with the Club Secretary to ensure that there is no clash with other junior sides.
- Groups are to select their preferred school in the local area to promote their program; (this doesn't guarantee a clinic at that school). After consultation with the Regional Cricket Manager a free promotional clinic will be arranged if the Group has registered with Cricket Victoria by Friday 29 August 2008.
- To avoid school clashes the Regional Cricket Manager will mediate and resolve all issues with the Groups prior to the distribution of promotional flyers.
- After the school has been identified, Group Coordinators will need to contact the school to obtain permission for Cricket Victoria to organise the free cricket clinic at the school in the September / October period. Make sure you establish the correct contact person in the school and outline what your Club/Association proposes to do.
- The CV Regional Cricket Manager or Regional Development Officer will organise a suitable day and time with the school to conduct the free clinic. Group Coordinators will then be advised of these details. Clubs/Associations are encouraged to be present at the clinic to promote their Program.
