Desire and ability to teach and develop all players, with particular focus on the development of younger players
Genuine passion for the sport and for contributing to a positive on and off field culture

Mazenod Old Collegians Cricket Club (MOCCC) is seeking an ambitious and skilled cricketer and leader to assume the
position of Captain/Coach for the 2012/13 season.

MOCCC has built a rich tradition of success since its inception in 1974 and – with a strong core of young and talented
cricketers – is poised to push into the highest echelons of the ECA and further enhance its reputation with the right leader.

The club is looking for someone who is highly driven, disciplined and passionate and one who has a strong playing/coaching
background in cricket.

The successful candidate will take the reins of a club that boasts a 1st and 2nd XI group with an average age of just 26,
including 12 under 22.

We have a strong club culture that is family orientated and attracts a wide variety of diverse cultures. We encourage playing
hard, tough, successful cricket in the right spirit and take great pride in our social awareness and exemplary disciplinary record.

The strong ties with Mazenod College afford us the privilege of using the school’s excellent facilities for training and playing,
including a maintained turf oval with recently upgraded wickets, plus a superb, fully synthetic second oval installed in 2010.
Further developments will also see new training nets for the coming season.

Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

- have a proven record as coach or player
- show leadership experience
- strong communication skills
- able to plan and carry out senior practice
- ability to teach and develop all players ( senior & junior )
- assist with selection of all senior sides
- attend committee meetings
