Level 1 Accreditation
The Level 1 Coaching Course is designed to educate coaches how to teach the basic fundamental skills of cricket.
Once registered for the Level 1 Coaching Course, each participant is asked to complete the free Introduction to Cricket Online Course which takes approximately 1-3 hours to complete.
This course can be found at: http://introductiontocricket.bpdmail.com.au/
A certificate of completion can be printed off once this course is completed. This certificate must then be brought along to the one day practical course. The practical course includes approximately eight hours of contact time over one day and is partly made up of a practical assessment, which is to be completed by each candidate.
It is absolutely necessary to have completed the online Introduction to Cricket component of the course, before attending the one day practical component to be eligible to pass. During the one day practical course, each candidate will be assessed for their competency to coach at a Level One standard.
The final result is a combination of participation in the 'face to face' practical course, the practical assessment component of the course and successful completion of the online Introduction to Cricket Course.
All result information will be forwarded by mail to participants within 6 weeks after the course.
Course cost: $125 (inclusive of GST). This gains you membership to Cricket Coaches Australia (CCA) for 2 years.
