Level 1 Accreditation

The Level 1 Course Program is designed to educate coaches how to teach the basic fundamental skills of cricket.

Once registered for the Level One Coaching Course each participant is asked to complete the free Australian Sports Commission's online General Principles of Coaching Course which takes 4-6 hours.

This course can be found at https://learning.ausport.gov.au/jPortal/Courses/tabid/62/Default.aspx

A certificate of completion can be printed off once this course is completed. This certificate must then be brought along to the one day face to face course (see scheduled dates). The presented course takes one day of contact time and is partly made up of a practical assessment which is to be completed by each candidate. It is absolutely necessary to have completed the online General Principles course before attending the one day face to face program to be eligible to pass. At the conclusion of the one day face to face course, each candidate will be assessed for their competency to coach at a Level One standard.

The final result is a combination of both the practical assessment, participation in the course proper and successful completion of the online Australian Sports Commission's General Principles of Coaching.

All result information will be forwarded by mail to participants.

Course cost $115 (inclusive of GST). This includes Cricket Coaches Australia (CCA) membership for 2 years.

Please complete the application form (see below link) and remember to indicate which Course you wish to attend.

Course information will be forwarded to all applicants via email. Please ensure you include your email address in the application form.
