Cricket Victoria - Memorabilia Policy

Each season Cricket Victoria distributes over 200 items of Victorian Bushranger memorabilia by way of signed bats, shirts, caps and other items of value. Cricket Victoria also provides over 1,000 complentary tickets to international cricket matches in Melbourne. Over 5,000 complentary tickets to see the Victorian Bushrangers play in the Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield, Ford Ranger One Day Cup and KFC Twenty20 Big Bash are also given away.

Memorabilia requests are a core component of the Bushrangers in the Community being able to help those in need. In the past 12 months Cricket Victoria have donated memorabilia items to the following organizations:

The following criteria is in place for memorabilia requests

  • The organisation must be community based and demonstrate the how the memorabilia item will be used
  • The organisation must be based in Victoria
  • Requests need to be made at least three weeks in advance of the event
  • The organisation must not have received an item in the past 12 months

Victoria encompasses over 1,100 cricket clubs and 2,000 schools and as the only elite cricketing body in the state we are not in a position to meet the high demand for memorabilia in a fair and consistent manner. Therefore, the following memorabilia requests are not able to be met.

  • Club requests
  • Association requests
  • Schools, Kindergarten requests
  • Community groups, sporting groups

However, where possible Cricket Victoria will supply tickets to Victorian Bushrangers home matches to clubs, associations, schools, kindergartens and community groups.

At its discretion, Cricket Victoria may approve the request for memorabilia & merchandise under extraordinary circumstances to a club, association, school etc.
