Merv's Walk to the G
To commence Family Day on Day 3 of the Boxing Day Test (Friday 28 December) between Australia and India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground mums, dads and children are all invited to join Australian cricket icon Merv Hughes in his third annual ‘Merv's Walk to the G’.
Merv’s Walk to the G is a free activity for the entire family, commencing at Federation Square, walking through Birrarung Marr and across the William Barak Bridge to the G.
The first 500 participants to register on the day with a Day 3 ticket will receive a complementy ‘Merv’s Walk to the G’ bucket cap.
Once you arrive at the MCG, children under the age of 16 will gain free entry to the ground when acompanied by an adult with a valid match day ticket. All participants who sucesfully complete Merv’s Walk to the G will receive a signed certificate.

WHERE: | The walk will commence at Federation Square with a mass warm-up led by Merv with other personalities, and travel down the William Barak Bridge to the MCG. |
