Norwood Cricket Club is seeking the services of a Captain/Coach or Non Playing Coach for season 2012/2013 and
beyond.
Currently we have the following set up in the RDCA:
• 5 senior teams
• 1st eleven playing in Trollope Shield
• U12, U14, U16
• Excellent numbers in Milo program
• Veterans side
Norwood has set out in developing our young talent and this is now evident with 5 of our 1st eleven players being
19 – 22 years old.  We also have another group of 5 19 – 22 year olds playing in our second eleven looking to take
the next step.

We have pride ourselves on a culture that once you come to Norwood you stay and this is evident with a previous
Captain/Coach being in the role for 7 years and only leaving to live overseas.

Qualifications:
Captain/Coach: Minimum 2 years in a similar role
Non Playing Coach: Minimum Level 2, Level 3 highly regarded

We pride ourselves on an excellent support program and the successful candidate will be required to focus on the 1st
and 2nd eleven with in house help for the lower grades.

Key Selection Criteria
The selection criteria will revolve around the ability to:
- Create and clearly communicate a framework to continue to develop the first XI squad.
- Devise and conduct all senior pre-season and season training sessions in conjunction with the coaching
panel of the club.
- Develop training and coaching plans to aid the improvement of all cricketers within the club with an
emphasis on strengthening the top three grades and ensuring a smooth transition from the junior to senior
playing list.
- Liaise with junior coaches to ensure a consistent approach to coaching and playing is adhered to within
the club.
- Lead by example to ensure a “High Performance” culture is continually developed both on and off field.

The Wonga Park Cricket Club is one of the largest clubs in the Ringwood & District Cricket
Association playing in the idyllic surroundings of Wonga Park. It has been in existence for over 100 years.

The Club operates on the philosophy of “One Club” and incorporates all levels of cricket under one strong
administration and financial framework to ensure that off field we are a success.

The Club offers some of the best training facilities in the Association with our club rooms currently being
redeveloped.

The Club has a very strong junior program which has seen the emergence of numerous talented juniors
complementing our senior playing list.

During the current season the club has fielded 8 senior teams, 4 veteran teams and 9 junior teams. Our
First Eleven plays in the Trollope Shield with our Second Eleven playing in the Newey Plate.

The Club wishes to appoint a coach - playing or non playing who is a clear communicator with the ability to
give strong leadership to a club that has many talented juniors and a squad of First Eleven players all under
the age of 30.

The person will have the full support of people within the Club who are able to assist with all aspects of
coaching under the direction of the Club Coach.

Chirnside Park Cricket Club’s first XI will participate in the Wilkins Cup competition of the Ringwood and District
Cricket Association next season.


Based at Kimberley Reserve, Chirnside Park Cricket Club boasts a young and enthusiastic list and the committee
believes success is imminent.

With four senior teams, along with a growing Milo In2cricket program, recently refurbished nets and two quality grounds,
the club believes its future is bright.

The club is in search for the right person to ensure success in future years.

This is the perfect opportunity for a coach who believes in developing young talent to play higher-grade cricket in years to
come. The club has several young bowlers with obvious ability within its ranks.

Applicants will be expected to showcase an ability to communicate effectively and outline a view for success for the
senior club.

In addition to this, applicants must also show a strong desire to deliver more success for Chirnside Park Cricket Club, in
particular the club’s first XI.

The successful applicant will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and an ability to tutor players one-on-one.

The successful applicant will also be required to develop the club’s training program, as well as working with players,
individually, to help set a platform for success.

Knoxfield Knights play at Carrington Park, Ferntree Gully Road, Knoxfield, next to Bunnings. Our ground is now one of the
best in the city of knox after recently being replaced with the warm weather grass and a newly laid synthetic pitch on a large
ground.
The club is 45 years old and the 1st eleven finished only 1 game out of the four with the last game being a wash out, 2nd
eleven lost their semi final, 3rd eleven were PREMIERS, 4th & 5th eleven didnt play finals.
We also field 2 veterans (over 40's) sides of a sunday.

Our 1st eleven is fairly young ranging from the youngest 17 yrs to the oldest at 31yrs, are very good fielding side & bowling
with our batting letting us down a bit this last year.

Following a successful merger at the beginning of last season, Knox Boronia Churches Cricket Club is a
small club with big ambitions. We are proud of the family friendly culture we have created at our club in such
a short time, and now we are looking to carry our off-field successes on to the pitch.

Having been promoted to play in the FTGDCA Decoite Shied for season 2012/13, we are seeking an
experienced playing or non-playing coach to carry us to the levels of success we all crave.

Last season we had 4 senior and one veterans team, and we are hoping to increase that to 5 senior teams
and also to develop a solid junior program.

Working closely with the Director of Cricket, the successful applicant will use their proven leadership
experience and expertise to develop and drive a training program to get the most out of a talented group
