Bayswater Cricket Club are Seeking a Playing or Non Playing Senior Coach for the 2008/09 Season

BCC was established in 1893 and has a long and proud history of providing a game of cricket for all age groups within the local community and beyond. Your prime responsibility will be to coach the four senior turf teams participating in the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association.

The successful applicant will be required to present their credentials to a selection panel headed by the President.

Basic expectations once selected will be:

    • Attendance at all designated practice sessions
    • Skills coaching both individually and with a group.
    • To co-ordinate training in conjunction with the Practice Captain and other designated personnel
    • The ability to provide written mid season and season end reports on agreed players
    • To assist with recruiting as requested
    • If non playing, to attend agreed matches on all playing days
    • To work with Junior coaches in respect to juniors who also play senior cricket
    • To be capable of addressing the entire playing group on a regular basis plus addressing the entire Club at certain functions
    • To participate in all social events.

In certain circumstances BCC will also consider including first eleven captaincy in the role.

Boronia Cricket Club are seeking a Captain/Coach or Non/Playing Coach for the 2008/09 Season

The Boronia Cricket Club is one of the oldest & largest clubs within the strongly represented outer eastern suburbs, comprising of 4 senior sides (two Turf & 2 synthetic sides), 8 junior sides, 1 veterans side , and Milo Have A Go Program.

Our club prides itself on its strong family culture and junior development program. The key to our success has been our ability to nurture our younger group of players and instill a solid foundation of social culture via our more experienced players and members within the club.

We also pride ourselves, undoubtedly, on having the best training (Turf & Synthetic) and social club facilities (which are next to none) envied in our association and the Outer Eastern Suburbs. The position is ideal for a career coach , and we now need to set the impetus for the future in "raising the bar" to the next level in our competition. We are aiming to achieve this by helping in implementation of successful processes and aiding in the further development of our talented younger core group of players via our more experienced mix of players. With the coaches guidance and vision.

We now need a strong and capable leader for season 2008/09 and beyond, who can guide us to that next level of excellence by:

• Coaching the senior sides with a focus on developing the skills of our talented younger players. Both at an individual level and within a group environment.
• Captaining the 1st XI team.
• Possessing Strong Leadership & communicative qualities and be of good character.
• To be capable of addressing the entire playing group on a regular basis.
• Having previously played cricket at a senior level who has a proven track record of on- field success.
• If Non- Playing, to attend agreed matches on all playing days for all sides.
• To work with the Junior coaches in respect to juniors who play senior cricket.
• Being able to demonstrate short term and long term goals to enhance individual player skill levels.
• Preferably having accredited coaching qualifications, although not totally paramount.
