Requirements For Conducting MILO in2CRICKET
- Both the Group Coordinator and the Assistant Group Coordinator must be endorsed by the Club / Association Secretary or President on the Group Application Form that they both have the skills necessary to conduct the MILO in2CRICKET Program.
- It is recommended that the person selected to act as Group Coordinator for your Program has completed the ‘Introduction to Coaching' course. Contact Chris Harris at Cricket Victoria for available course dates on 9653 1154 or email: charris@cricketvictoria.com.au
- If both the Group Coordinator and the Assistant Group Coordinator are unable to attend a session of the MILO in2CRICKET Program, then that session must be cancelled and all participants notified accordingly.
- In addition to any appropriate insurance Cricket Victoria may have, the Club/Association must have the MILO in2CRICKET Program (including the Program, participants, Group Coordinator, Assistant Group Coordinator and all other volunteers assisting with the Program) specifically included under their public liability insurance policy; which has coverage to a minimum of $10 million. The Club / Association Secretary, President or Treasurer must verify this coverage on the Group Application Form.
- It is recommended that the ratio of leaders to participants should be 1:20 at all times (consistent with the State Education department recommendations). When the Group has stations set up, there should be a coordinator or volunteer at each station to supervise the participants.
- Ensure that all promotional giveaway items are distributed to all children that participate in the MILO in2CRICKET Program.
