Mulgrave Country Club Cricket Club is looking for a Playing Coach for the 2008/09 Season

The club plays in the very competitive Box Hill Reporter DCA and fields 3 very strong senior teams with 3 junior sides and runs a Milo Have-a-Go program (2 junior sides played finals last season).

We are looking for a coach who has played in a higher grade of cricket (district or sub district) and who is:

i) A good communicator
ii) Passionate and wants to see success brought to a club
iii) Expected to organize training 2 nights a week
iv) Willing to help with selection in all grades of the club
v) An assistance to attract quality senior players
vi) Providing junior development

The cricket club is willing to accept all applications and is willing to appoint a coach with no experience. Help can be provided for the successful applicant to receive full coaching qualifications as required.

Murrumbeena Cricket Club seeks the Services of a Playing Coach for Season 2008/2009

The Murrumbeena Cricket Club fields 4 senior teams in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association (VTCA) and 7 under aged teams in the Southern District and Churches Cricket League. It has a long and proud history and is approaching it's Centenary Year. The club has been building towards this major milestone over recent years and has experienced moderate success having had it's Senior Team playing in the finals in the last two seasons. We are now looking to add a Captain/Coach who has the ability to lead the club to Premiership success over the coming years.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

• Co-ordinate training throughout the season, including pre season training
• Build the enthusiasm and motivation of all players to perform to the best of their ability
• Engender a club and team spirit
• Provide skills coaching both individually and as a group
• Develop the technical proficiency of cricketers at all levels
• Encourage players at all levels to enjoy their cricket
• Provide leadership that players will respect and aspire to

The successful applicant should have the following attributes:

• Excellent communication skills
• Proven track record as a player
• Ability to improve the technical ability of players at all levels
• Ability captain a 1st XI
• Ability to contribute in a positive way to the further development and success of the club.

The club would prefer that the applicant has Level 1 Coaching Accreditation but is prepared to provide assistance to the selected applicant to gain such accreditation.

McKinnon Cricket Club seeks an Assistant Coach for Season 2008/2009

McKinnon Cricket Club, affiliated with the Victorian Turf Cricket Association (VTCA) and the City of Moorabbin Cricket Association, invites applications for an Assistant Coach.

McKinnon CC fields 5 teams in the (VTCA), with the Senior XI competing in the top grade of Senior Division and fields a senior team and 13 junior teams in the CMCA.

The successful applicant will be expected to match the following criteria;

 -  Min. Level 1 Coaching Accreditation (can be organised through the club)
 -  Proven playing history at same level or higher
 -  Passionate and wants to see success brought to a club
 -  Keen interest in the development of cricketers of all ages and abilities
 -  Liaise with Head Coach at training and on game days
 -  Have proven leadership and communication skills

Oakleigh Cricket Club seeks a Senior Coach for Season 2008/09

Affiliated with the VSDCA, Oakleigh have enjoyed a recent period of sustained success, with 6 consecutive First XI Finals appearances, and 5 consecutive Top 5 placing in the Club Championship.

The successful applicant will head up the cricket operations department and oversee a team of team managers, team captains, and net captains. The Coach will be involved with the Acorn development squad and subsequent integration to the senior club. The role will report to the Vice President of Cricket operations on the board.

Personal attributes/qualifications/experience required for the position includes:

· Previous Coaching experience in a Senior sporting capacity (preferred)
· Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop people
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong planning and organisation skills

The East Malvern Cricket Club Inc. is seeking to employ a Senior Coach for season 2008-09

The Club's Executive views the position of Club Coach as critical to the continued development of the club and its cricketers. Consequently, we seek a motivated individual who has the proven ability to develop, inspire and help lead the club to further success. Junior development is one of the club's key priorities and the successful applicant will play an integral role in the progress of the juniors.

The Club has 4 senior sides, playing in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association and approximately 15 junior sides in the Southern District & Churches Cricket Association. The Club also conducts a large and busy Milo - Have - a - Go program.

Specific responsibilities of the Club Coach will include (but not be limited to) the development and implementation of a pre-season training schedule; the co-ordination of training throughout the season (Seniors: Tues & Thurs evenings. Juniors: Tues, Wed and Thurs evenings); the development of individual player's skills at all levels; the identification of talent and leadership skills within the Senior and Junior lists; and participation in team selection.

Elwood Cricket Club seeks Coach / Playing Coach for Season 2008/09

The Elwood Cricket Club is seeking the services of an experienced leader to develop and prepare our young talented playing list for the 2008/09 season.

Located alongside picturesque Elwood Beach at the Wattie Watson Oval (Mel 67 C5), the Elwood Cricket Club competes in the City of Moorabbin Cricket Association (CMCA) with the 1st IX competing in the Longmuir Shield (A Grade). We host five senior teams along with 6 junior sides, all playing on synthetic carpet.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Have excellent communication skills
• Conduct enjoyable and varying training sessions which incorporates fitness strategies
• Assist players at all levels with the development of individual skills
• Participate in team selection alongside all team captains
• Provide senior captains with match day strategies and support
• Attend club social events
• Be approachable to all players of all levels

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated:

• Strong leadership skills
• An ability to improve the technical ability of players at all levels
• An ability to develop and foster a culture of success

Formal coaching accreditation will be viewed favourably but is not considered essential.
