Hampton Central Cricket Club requires the services of a senior coach/playing coach to take a leadership role in the development of a strong club with 6 senior and 4 junior sides playing in the CMCA.

Highett Cricket Club is looking for a Senior Captain-Coach for 2008-09

Highett Cricket Club has 4 senior teams in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association (VTCA) and another senior side in the City of Moorabbin Cricket Association (CMCA), which is played on synthetic pitches. It also has 4 junior teams in the CMCA and an established Milo Have-A-Go program for boys and girls under the age of 10.

Last season the club celebrated 120 years of competition, marking a long and proud history that includes nearly 60 premierships since WW2 and many members who have gone on to play District or Premier 1st XI cricket, including four at present.

The club enjoys very good training facilities, with five practice nets, a bowling machine and other specialist equipment. There are three cricket ovals within Highett Reserve.

We are looking for a player/coach who has successfully competed at a higher grade of cricket and who ideally is able to demonstrate:

1) Strong leadership skills, by word and example
2) Keen determination to help bring on-field success to the club
3) Good communication skills
4) Availability to lead most senior training sessions, including indoor pre-season nights
5) Contacts to help recruit senior players
6) Ability to teach and improve cricket techniques
7) Willingness to occasionally help with junior development
8) Ability to help build club camaraderie and an enjoyable cricketing environment
9) Interest in supporting club social functions
10) Willingness to help with selection in all senior sides

Preferably, the successful applicant will be prepared to commit for more than just one season so that he can grow in partnership with the club and reap the benefits of his efforts.

Whilst level 1 coaching accreditation is preferable, the club is prepared to invest in the development of the right candidate by supporting him in gaining such qualifications.

A package commensurate with the successful applicant's skills and experience will be negotiated.

Maranatha Methodist Cricket Club is looking for a Playing/Non-Playing Coach for the 2008-09 Season

Maranatha Methodist Cricket Club are affiliated with the Dandenong & District Cricket Association.

We are looking for a playing or non-playing coach for the 2008/09 season for 2 turf and 5 synthetic sides. We are a club in the growth corridor of Melbourne with senior teams in turf, synthetic, Masters & one day competitions. We also have 6 junior sides and good numbers in the Milo-Have-A-Go program.

We are in the process of restructure and would like a coach to be actively involved in that process by taking a leadership role at the club.

Carnegie South Cricket Club require a Playing Assistant Coach for Season 2008/09

Carnegie South Cricket Club is affiliated with the City of Moorabbin Cricket Association and fields 4 senior teams , 5 junior teams and a Milo Have a Go program. Our 1st eleven play in the top division, Longmuir Shield.

We have a young and exciting list and an experienced Level 2 coach. We are seeking an enthusiastic person to assist with the coaching at all levels of the club as well as playing in our 1st eleven.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has coaching ambitions and is interested in developing young talent as well as playing with and providing leadership to a young playing group.

Level 1 qualifications are not neccessary as the club will assist with accreditation.

Dingley Cricket Club is seeking a Playing Assistant Coach for Season 2008/09

PLAYING ASSISTANT COACH

Dingley Cricket Club, a South A club in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association, is seeking the services of a Playing Assistant Coach for Season 2008/09 and beyond.

Dingley is very much a family orientated and community focused club and this year we celebrate fifty years since our inception. We currently field seven senior and eleven junior teams as well as a substantial Milo In2CRICKET Program. Dingley is blessed with good facilities including a picturesque ground and first rate social facilities.

We welcome applications from any experienced players who believe they may have the credentials to:

• Assist the Club Coach in the development of the skills of all senior players.
• Demonstrate an ability to communicate well with players and other club members.
• Develop the skills of an Under 21 Development Squad.
• Assist the Senior Coach in the conduct of training on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at any pre-season sessions.
• Help recruit other players to the club.
• Be a role model for Dingley players in terms of sportsmanship, on-field behaviour and professionalism.
• Attend after-match functions and other social functions where possible

The remuneration package offered for this position will be in accordance with the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
