ABOUT THE COURSE
This course offers opportunities for graduates in areas of sports management, sports administration, event management, facility management, fitness, coaching and many other areas of the Sport and Recreation Industry.
Core curriculum involves literacy, numeracy, personal development, career planning and preparation for work.

COURSE STRUCTURE
Involvement in Cricket Victoria's programs;
- Milo Have-A-Go
- Crichit
- Play Cricket Program
- Milo Super & Kanga 8's
- Level 1 Coaching Accreditation
- Students have the opportunity to work closely with the high performance coaches at Cricket Victoria and will have access to the elite level training facilities at the MCG
All participants will be provided with a Cricket Victoria Sports Development Program Uniform.

Completion of the program will provide students with the opportunity to develop an excellent future pathway.
- Work in the Sport & Recreation Industry
- Possible employment within Cricket Victoria or other industry bodies
- Articulate into a degree in Human Movement, Sports Coaching, Sports Administration, Business and Marketing.
MELBOURNE SCHOOL OF SPORT & RECREATION MANAGEMENT
The Melbourne School of Sport & Recreation Management (MSSRM) provides high quality professional training, sports management consultancy and career management services designed to benefit the Sport & Recreation Industry at every level.
LOCATIONS
Programs will be based in sporting venues in all eight (8) Cricket Victoria metropolitan regions.
ELIGIBILITY
The Cricket Victoria Sports Development Program is specifically designed for young students who would like to pursue a career in the sport and recreation industry.
The program will engage young people through real life learning via an integrated curriculum linked to industry.
The program is open to both males and females aged 16 -19. Successful applicants will be selected via application and interview.
Selection is not dependent on sports skill.
