The Victorian Cricket Bushfire Recovery Fund
Cricket Victoria is attempting to collaborate the fundraising efforts of all Victorian Cricket Clubs into the one central Bushfire Recovery Fund and all proceeds from this promotion will be directed into the fund. The response to date has been quite magnificent and we should all be very proud of the contribution Victorian Cricket, as a whole, has made to this cause.
We ask clubs and individuals to consider the Lord's Test Match promotion as an effective way to make a lasting contribution to the recovery fund. The purchase of tickets in the promotion, with potential for great incentives to clubs besides the major prize of an all-expense paid trip for four people to the England v Australia Test at Lord's in July this year, is a win for everyone.
Each $100 donation certifies a ticket and there are only 2,500 in total. The promotion closes on May 13 with the winner announced on May 15 so time is running out.

Each club that sells at least one ticket goes into a supplementary draw for some unbelievable prizes!
- A training session hosted by Bushrangers coach Greg Shipperd and Australian batsman David Hussey. Greg and David will remain after training to speak to players and supporters;
- Two clubs to receive two Bushrangers and VicSpirit stars to visit your club's Junior Presentation Night;
- Four clubs to receive a Kookaburra cricket kit valued at $1500;
- Signed Australian team cricket bat;
- 10 clubs to receive a double pass to the 2009/10 3 Mobile Boxing Day Test;

HOW THE MONEY RAISED WILL BE INVESTED
Money raised through this promotion will be put directly into the Victorian Cricket Bushfire Recovery Fund.
The fund will go to cricket clubs affected by the Victorian Bushfires who will need assistance with projects like:
- Re-establishing grounds
- Re-building club rooms
- Equipment assistance such as bats, balls and stumps
The clubs affected are dependant on support to rebuild their facilities for their players, members and the community, so please show your support by purchasing a ticket and hopefully winning some terrific prizes along the way.
