Yarraville Cricket Club is seeking the appointment of a new club leader in season 2008/9 to take on the important Club Coaching role at this proud and historical VSDCA club. We will adequately remunerate the successful applicant who will be a self motivated individual, be passionate and determined to teach, lead, motivate and improve all level of abilities which we have at the club.
Primarily the successful applicant's role will be to Coach the (4 )senior men's teams however the successful applicant will also be required to continue overseeing and fostering the strong working relationship we have with the Yarraville Juniors from their Milo program up to Under 17.

• Have proven leadership & communication skills

We are looking for an experienced coach who will continue to develop our talented younger players as well as challenging our more experienced players with the skills that will enable the club to have ongoing success.

- Have good communication and leadership skills

We have three senior turf sides and four junior cricket sides along with running a successful Milo Have a Go Cricket Program. We are also looking at a fourth senior side dependent upon numbers.
We are a family oriented cricket club which has grown significantly since the inception of juniors only four seasons ago. We have historically been very successful, regularly competing in finals. Gellibrand has made the semi's or been runners up in four of the last five seasons in the A Turf and are looking to take the next step.
The club has an exciting on-field future due to the growth of our junior program with many showing enough promise to play senior cricket in the near future. We have a broad mixture of young and experienced cricketers.
Our training facilities are excellent with enclosed synthetic and turf cricket pitches and a bowling machine. We have two turf grounds with excellent wicket tables as well as immediate access to adjoining synthetic wickets. Our club has a dedicated committee and membership group who are keen to develop our long term future.
We are looking for someone who will develop, lead and motivate our playing group. Key responsibilities include:
• Set-up and run the pre-season training program
• Co-ordinate and run mid-week and pre-game training sessions for cricketer's of all skill levels
