Introduction to Coaching

Are you a first time Junior or Woolworths Cricket Blast coach?

The introduction to coaching course is an online course developed to assist community coaches by outlining important information, strategies and resources that will help to create fun and engaging learning environments where kids can enjoy the game with their friends. The course will take approximately 90 mins to 120 mins.

To complete this course, you need to first register with a Cricket ID here

Along with the introduction to coaching course, coaches are required to have downloaded the CA Coach App. Once downloaded, coaches are required to complete the Junior Coach Course (Part A) which consists of ten short modules and finalise their self-assessment. Proof of completion needs to be brought along to the course.

The CA Coach App is the perfect place to learn coaching tips and plans so you can help your child, school or club team.

Following the completion of the introduction to coaching course, coaches can sign up to a two-hour face to face practical session to upgrade their accreditation to Community Coach status.
