Improving umpiring techniques
The Seminar is primarily aimed at improving on-field techniques for umpires at all levels.
In addition, it provides a forum for umpires to share experiences with their peers and examine alternative ways of dealing with challenging situations in the officiating environment.
It is conducted by Bob Parry, the Cricket Victoria umpiring manager, Daryl Cox, Cricket Victoria umpiring officer, and other senior members of the CA National Panel and CV Premier Cricket Umpires on a biannual basis with the last course being held in 2012.
The next courses will be held in September 2014 with details being posted on this site in July of that year.
