Australian cricket legend Greg Chappell will headline those presenting at the 2013 State Coaching Seminar in November.

Held at Maribyrnong Sports College, the seminar will provide coaches the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches in the sporting industry.

Former Test captain Greg Chappell will present a session on batting, while Australian tennis and golf star Scott Draper will focus on the coaching lessons he gained from his elite sporting career.

Australian baseball coach and Boston Red Sox scout Jon Deeble will also feature in the seminar, presenting on fielding and giving an insight into his coaching philosophy.

Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers coaches Greg Shipperd and Simon Helmot will partake in the seminar line-up along with former Australian cricketer Bryce McGain.

“We are really pleased with the presenters we have got this year,” Cricket Victoria Education and Training Coordinator Neil Gray said.

“With the Ashes just round the corner we are addressing some of the key issues that will be at the forefront of our coaches’ minds.”
