CitiPower Centre to host All Abilities State Squad Training
Cricket Victoria is committed to providing opportunities for all Victorians to participate in Cricket.
We are thrilled to be hosting a state squad training session that is open to all individuals who identify as one of the following:
- Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Blind or Vision Impaired
- Intellectual Disability
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
The session will include skills and drills with squad coaches along with a series of team building activities. No previous playing experience is required to participate, so it is a great opportunity for members of the community to get involved.
The sessions will be held on the following dates:
Indigenous Male and Female (open age) & Intellectual Disability (ID)
Date: May 21
Time: 6:00-10:00pm
To be eligible to register for this session, participants must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander or have an Intellectual Disability (ID).
Blind and Vision Impaired, Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Date: May 23
Time: 6:00-10:00pm
To be eligible to register for this session, participants must identify as:
- Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Blind or Vision Impaired
Simply follow the link below to register your interest in either one of the above sessions.
While the session is informal, there will be an opportunity for individuals to be selected to represent Victoria in the respective championships with the prospect of representing Australia in the National Deaf Squad, National Blind Squad, National Intellectual Disability Squad or National Indigenous Squad.
