The conference will provide an opportunity for participants to gain valuable industry insights, learn powerful new teaching strategies and delve deeper into health and wellbeing practices.
The conference is a mix of practical skills development sessions, key note speakers and a panel discussion about breaking down the barriers to Female Participation in Sport with former Melbourne Renegades and Victorian Cricketer, Sarah Elliot and Cricket Victoria’s Women’s Player Development Manager, Jess Bustin.
A keynote presentation will be made by Dani Weber from Project Rockit, who for 10 years have been empowering school students to stand up to schoolyard bullying instead of standing by watching.
Dani will speak to their experience at school and what makes them passionate about making spaces for young people to realise their full potential. Dani will also share some of the strategies for standing up to hate online that can be shared with young people.
The day will also provide participants with the opportunity to network with others in the field of education and sport in an informal setting.
Morning tea and lunch included in cost.
