Cricket Victoria toasts award winners at State Awards Ceremony

The annual event celebrates the best performers across our elite men’s and women’s teams, whilst also recognising up and coming talent and our debutants across the 2018-19 season.

STATE AWARD WINNERS:

Bill Lawry Medal
Player judged to have had the best performances for Victoria over the course of the JLT Sheffield Shield season

Winner: Marcus Harris

Dean Jones Medal
Player judged to have had the best performances for Victoria during the JLT One-Day Cup tournament

Winner: Peter Handscomb

Sharon Tredrea Award
Player judged to have had the best performances for Victoria during the Women’s National Cricket League season (WNCL)

Winner: Meg Lanning

John Scholes Award
Voted for by the Victorian male players for the player judged to best exhibit Victorian values
