About the CitiPower Centre at Junction Oval
The CitiPower Centre at the Junction Oval is the home of cricket in Victoria.
The state-of-the-art facility is a year-round elite training base for Victoria’s best cricketers as well as a hub for community cricket.
The wider cricket community are also welcome to utilise the facilities, from hosting functions in our event spaces, to booking and hiring out the indoor cricket training nets and other facilities.
The CitiPower Centre features the administrative headquarters for Cricket Victoria, the Melbourne Stars and the Melbourne Renegades, high performance facilities, an indoor centre as well as medical and rehabilitation areas for the state’s elite cricket teams.
The ground and complex can be used for cricket all-year round, with the Junction Oval hosting Sheffield Shield, Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL), BBL, WBBL and Premier Cricket matches.
The CitiPower Centre includes:
- 10 lane indoor centre with full performance analysis technology
- Two outdoor practice wicket facilities comprising 56 wickets
- Medical and rehabilitation facilities including gym and indoor aquatic centre
- Function and event spaces
- Administrative base for Cricket Victoria, the Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades
- The Cricket Victoria Store – for merchandise and cricket equipment sales
- Refurbishment of the historic Blackie-Ironmonger Stand, including new change rooms for St Kilda Cricket Club and other community use
- Redeveloped and expanded Junction Oval playing surface to meet ICC requirements

Indoor Centre Bookings
The CitiPower Centre Indoor Cricket Facility at the Junction Oval is now available for bookings. The Indoor facility boasts 10 lanes with full length run ups, 3 bowling machines and speed guns available in all lanes.

Cricket Victoria Store
The Cricket Victoria Store is located inside the CitiPower Centre’s town hall / reception area, and is open 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
There is a wide range of Victorian, Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades merchandise available, plus equipment from Kookaburra & Masuri.
The CV Store is your one stop shop for all your cricketing needs.
CitiPower Centre Function Space
Flexible space with up to 220 sit down and 350 cocktail capacity when utilising the whole room.
The space can also be broken up into four smaller capacity areas to accommodate Board Meetings, Conferences, Strategy Presentations and the like. Flexible capacity per room of 10-50 attendees.
