Liquor Licensing

Cricket Victoria is mindful of observing both the spirit of the occasion and applicable laws regarding its liquor licensing obligations

As operator of the CitiPower Centre, Cricket Victoria is aware of the issues and complications surrounding the provision of alcohol at the venue.

To help ensure everyone attending the CitiPower Centre has an enjoyable and safe time, Cricket Victoria management and its catering partner, Dineamic, has introduced a range of measures relating to the responsible supply and service of alcohol.

These measures include:

• prohibiting patrons from bringing alcohol into the venue.
• ensuring that liquor licensing law is always observed.
• not serving alcohol to persons under 18-years.
• not serving intoxicated patrons.
• all serving staff complete a Responsible Serving of Alcohol training program
• low and non-alcoholic drinks are always made available from all bar areas
• CV reserves the right to close bars at any time on all event days.
• it is an offence to purchase liquor for (or supply liquor to) minors.

Patrons are reminded that all Dineamic catering staff have the support of Cricket Victoria management if service is refused.
