Live streaming: Australian Open Indoor Championships
Victoria is presently well placed at the tournament with its Under-23 side topping the standings and its Open Women’s squad on track to defend their title in second place.
The finals will be broadcast on www.cricket.com.au from tomorrow.
“There has been some excellent indoor cricket on display at Inside Sportz Strathpine in Brisbane throughout this week, and tomorrow’s and Saturday’s finals will showcase the best indoor cricket talent of the tournament,” Cricket Australia Executive General Manager Game and Market Development Andrew Ingleton said.
“To provide our elite indoor cricketers with added exposure by streaming the finals live to www.cricket.com.au is great for developing our game and for indoor cricket, and as such this is an important investment.
“We are proud of our indoor cricket programme and of the high standard of cricket being played in the current Australian Indoor Championships.
“So to give cricket fans and the almost 200,000 people across Australia who play indoor cricket the opportunity to see the best teams in our competition live via our website is a wonderful thing.”
Cricket Australia has invested $20,000 to have fixed cameras at the finals and will be accompanied by audio commentary on Saturday.
