Cricket Victoria congratulates A Sport for All awards winners

Cricket Victoria is pleased to recognise and celebrate this year's Victorian winners of the A Sport For All Awards.

The awards were created in recent years to highlight and celebrate community cricket and recognise the achievements of our community clubs, associations, indoor centres, community organisations, administrators and volunteers.

Many of these volunteers go above and beyond expectations to make cricket a sport for all Victorians.

Cricket Victoria CEO Andrew Ingleton said the awards were an important opportunity to recognise the major contributors to grassroots cricket.

“The A Sport For All awards are a fantastic recognition of so much hard work done by people in the cricket community. These people play a leading role in helping to grow the game at a grassroots level and it’s a fantastic opportunity to thank them for their ongoing hard work,” Ingleton said.

“The volunteer workforce in Victorian, indeed Australian cricket, is critically important to our sport. Whilst we have not been able to host the awards this year, we still wanted to recognise the outstanding contribution made by all nominees in the A Sport For All awards to Victorian cricket. Recipients will receive further acknowledgement at a later date when appropriate.”
