A Sport For All Awards 2018 – Nominations Now Open
Cricket in Victoria is made possible because of the thousands of volunteers, administrators, coaches, umpires and clubs that each have inspirational individuals who dedicate their time to the sport.
The A Sport For All awards provide us with an opportunity to shine a light on these unsung community heroes for all the work they do. It is their contribution that bring cricket fans and players even closer to the game.
“This is the second year for the A Sport For All Awards – Victoria and we are excited to share these celebrations with you all again. The awards recognise those in our cricket community who embrace diversity and champion inclusive practices at all levels,” said Cricket Victoria CEO Andrew Ingleton.
There are twelve categories for the awards including:
- Community Cricket Club of the Year
- Cricket Association of the Year
- Premier Cricket Club of the Year
- Community Cricket Initiative of the Year
- Entry Level Program of the Year
- Partner Organisation of the Year
- Community Facility Project of the Year
- Ambassador of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Junior Cricket Champion of the Year
- Community Match Official of the Year
- Community Coach of the Year
We encourage everyone involved in cricket to consider nominating someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the game and inspired, motivated or supported others over the past year. It’s a fantastic way to say thank you and only takes ten minutes!
