Free umpire training for females
Cricket Victoria is offering free umpire training to interested females.
Those who successfully complete the training will then get the opportunity to officiate in the Under-14 and Under-16 State Championships between 11-13 January alongside an experienced umpire.
Accredited umpires will also have the opportunity to earn $150 a day or $75 for a half day.
The training will be conducted by Cricket Victoria Umpiring Manager Richard Patterson, and involve an online assessment (75 minutes) followed by a practical session (90 minutes).
This is free for all female participants and is an official accreditation.
Those interested are asked to contact Richard Patterson so that training can be arranged.
