Annabel Sutherland is a standout right‑handed all‑rounder for Victoria in the WNCL and the Melbourne Stars in the WBBL. She made history as the youngest player in WBBL when she debuted for the Renegades at just 15, later earning a spot with the Stars and becoming their captain. In the 2022‑23 WBBL season she was named Melbourne Stars’ Player of the Season and led their wicket‑taking with 21 scalps, earning a spot in the Team of the Tournament.

Internationally, Sutherland debuted in T20Is in February 2020 against England and in ODIs in October 2020 versus New Zealand. She made her Test debut against India in September 2021, and in June 2023 she slammed 137* in the Women’s Ashes—Australia’s fastest Test hundred—coming off just 148 balls. A key member of Australia’s T20 World Cup (2020) and Commonwealth Games (2022) winning squads, she was awarded the 2025 Belinda Clark Medal for her outstanding all‑format performances.

Balancing sheer power and crafty medium‑pace bowling, Sutherland has three Test centuries, three ODI tons, multiple four‑wicket hauls, and is celebrated as one of Australia’s brightest cricketing talents across state and national stages.
