Doug Warren is a promising left-arm orthodox spinner and handy left-handed batsman hailing from Victoria. He cut his teeth in Premier Cricket with Melbourne University before earning a rookie contract with Victoria in May 2023.

After impressing in the Second XI, Warren made his Sheffield Shield debut against Queensland in November 2023, where coach David Hussey described his performance as “impressive,” earning him a spot in the following match.

His consistent domestic form led to selection in the CA XI, where he took three wickets against the West Indian touring side, and included training at the esteemed MRF Academy in India. In September 2024 he signed with the Melbourne Stars for BBL14, making his Big Bash debut in December and continuing his growth in the T20 arena
