Mitchell Perry is a right-arm fast-medium bowler who has emerged as a key figure in Victoria’s bowling lineup. He made his List A debut for Victoria in November 2019 during the Marsh One‑Day Cup, before earning his first-class debut in October 2020 in the Sheffield Shield.

In just his third Shield match, Perry made waves by dismissing batting great Steve Smith at the SCG in February 2021. Across his emerging first-class career, Perry has made 42 appearances, claiming 115 wickets, with best innings figures of 5/33 and two five-wicket hauls.

A capable lower-order left-handed batter and agile fielder, he has also represented Australia A in four-day matches in 2023, highlighting his growing reputation beyond state level.
