An explosive right‑arm fast‑medium bowler and right‑handed batter, McKenna earned her Victoria cap at just 16, having progressed through Cricket Australia’s pathways from U‑12 to U‑19.

She made her WBBL debut for the Melbourne Stars in October 2021—immediately making an impression by taking the wicket of Ellyse Perry in her first over  – and has since secured her spot across multiple seasons, including a standout 3/18 performance against Sydney Thunder.

A proven leader, McKenna captained both Victoria Country to the U‑19 National Championships final and Australia’s female squad at the 2023 ICC U‑19 Women’s T20 World Cup. Known for her swing bowling, athleticism, and cricketing maturity, she is considered one of Victoria’s most exciting emerging talents.
