Sam Harper is a wicket‑keeper/batsman for Victoria. He made his first-class debut on 3 February 2016 in the Sheffield Shield and recorded a remarkable nine dismissals behind the stumps on debut – the most ever by a keeper in Shield history.

Renowned for his aggressive batting, Harper scored a blistering 64-ball century for Victoria against South Australia in November 2023, marking the fastest Shield ton by a Victorian. He’s amassed over 2,100 first-class runs, including three centuries, and consistently contributes in all formats while also representing the Melbourne Stars. Beyond the field, he has pursued a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education at Deakin University
