Sophie Day continues to grow in stature having become a mainstay of the Victorian and Stars line-ups since making her debut. The left arm orthodox spinner was a latecomer to cricket and originally played hockey growing up, but has thrived since impressing scouts with her performances in Premier cricket.

Day is also a talented young artist having completed a Fine Arts degree and had her art exhibition ‘The Art of Cricket’ displayed at Cricket Victoria.

The spinner enjoyed a breakout season in WBBL|09, finishing as the BKT Golden Arm and claiming a place in the Team of the Tournament. A call-up for the Australia A three-day game followed in early 2024.
