Bio

Tayla Vlaeminck is a right-arm fast bowler for both Victoria and the Australian women’s cricket team. Rising through Victoria’s under-14 and under-18 ranks, she made her senior debut for the Victorian Spirit in the 2017–18 Women’s National Cricket League.

Her raw pace -regularly exceeding 120 km/h – earned her the nickname “Bendigo Bullet”. Despite enduring major setbacks, including two ACL reconstructions, a shoulder injury, stress fractures and foot stress injury, Vlaeminck’s resilience shone through. 

She debuted for Australia in an ODI against Pakistan in October 2018 and made her T20I debut at the World Twenty20 a month later. Her Test debut came during the 2019 Women’s Ashes, and she was part of the squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and the 2024 edition
