Reconciliation Week, a week for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The T20 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cup ran in April, the first time the @starsbbl and @renegadesbbl attended the competition against the Sydney Sixers and Thunder. The Cup was a wonderful opportunity to share culture and cricket and inspire new players.

It was fantastic to be part of the Parklife IDAHOBIT Movement Festival last Sunday and have @vicstatecricket and @starsbbl player Tess Flintoff involved!

Thanks to @cardiniashirecouncil and @proud2playinc for hosting the LGBTIQ+ community and encouraging community members get active in a social, inclusive and enjoyable way.

Victoria’s best Intellectually Disabled Cricketers recently played matches at Casey Fields to not only represent their state but to put their case forward for national selection in the upcoming International Cricket Inclusion Series against England in June!

Victoria’s Intellectually Disabled Team came together again after the pandemic for a two-day camp which included matches at Casey Fields.

We loved seeing this group back together and enjoying the game.

Marnie Kerridge is the President of the Melbourne Deaf Cricket Club and also a member of the Victorian Women’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing Cricket team.

Marnie shared the importance of coming together and being connected.

Victoria’s Men’s and Women’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teams recently took part in two days of education sessions and matches to show off their skills.

An Australian squad will also be selected for a series against England later this year.

The Melbourne All Abilities Cricket Association recently held their final between Croydon North and Williamstown.

Willamstown took out the honours on the day, however it was a great contest.

𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙩 - 𝘼 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙡𝙡...

Recently, our cricket team headed to Katandra School as a part of the Sporting Schools program.

Over four weeks, 36 students enjoyed being outside and playing cricket and we hope they enjoyed it as much as we did.
