Cricket will feature for the first time in the event’s 16-year history held in Brisbane from 13 to 19 October 2019.
Australia and England will compete in the cricket competition at the Games in a series of five Twenty20 matches at South Brisbane District Cricket Club and Allan Border Field.
Victorians Gavan Hicks, Jamie Phillips, Lachlan MaCrae and Steve Teloniatis have been selected in the playing squad, while Hassain Hanif will take on an assistant coaching role.
The squad are currently in Brisbane in preparation for the five Twenty20 matches against England.
