The Renegades return to Melbourne for their third KFC T20 Big Bash League outing after posting wins against the Melbourne Stars (home) and Sydney Thunder (away) to remain as the only unbeaten team in the competition.
Renegades Chief Executive Officer Stuart Coventry has assured fans there will be a game rain, hail or shine tonight thanks to Etihad Stadium’s roof.
“That’s one of the luxuries of playing in a world class, ultra-modern venue like Etihad Stadium,” Coventry said.
“Fans know they’ll always get value for their money and see a full game of cricket under the roof.”
The star-studded match will pit the world’s leading Test wicket-taker Muthiah Muralidaran against former Australia captain Ricky Ponting, while West Indian World Twenty20 hero Marlon Samuels will make his Etihad Stadium debut for the Renegades in his adopted home town.
Tickets start at $20 for adults and $5 for children at the gate, with the first ball bowled at 7pm.
