Stars continue to shine

Almost 25,000 fans saw the Stars’ international pace attack restrict the Strikers to 9-90, the third lowest total in the BBL, as James Faulkner (3-9), Lasith Malinga (2-8) and Jackson Bird (1-29) ripped through the visitors’ line-up.

The Stars then cruised to an eight-wicket victory with more than 12 overs to spare as Luke Wright (49 off 20 balls) and Glenn Maxwell (25* off 10) made light work of the run chase.
