Stars remain unbeaten in BBL|03

Despite their blue-chip list being severely depleted due to international commitments, stand-in skipper Brad Hodge top-scored with 61 from 43 balls as the Stars posted 6-161 on a slow MCG wicket.

In reply, the Scorchers were restricted to 9-141 as John Hastings (3-20) and Dan Worrall (2-29) shone with the ball.
