Victorians are encouraged to nominate their club, team, or individuals who have made a significant contribution to community sport and recreation, across the following eight categories:
You can nominate your own organisation, a club, team, group, third party or even yourself.
In addition to the eight awards, the Minister for Sport and Recreation will present the prestigious Sportsperson of the Year Award (Minister’s Award) to an individual, sporting team or club, or recreational organisation that embodies the true spirit of sportsmanship.
Nominations received across all award categories may also be considered for the Minister’s Award.
So get nominating and submit your 2012 Community Sport and Recreation Award nomination today.
Prizes ranging from $1000 to $5000 will be presented to the winners and finalists.
This is your chance to acknowledge the contribution of those who have made a difference in your community.
Nominations close on Wednesday, October 24 with the Award ceremony taking place on November 21.
