The editable template will allow clubs and associations to continue their planning for the season ahead and focus on the necessary government and public health requirements to be COVID-safe.
As a result of COVID-19, cricket this season will look different to any other season.
While cricket will proceed when permitted by Government and public health advice, Associations and Clubs need to take numerous steps for training sessions and matches to ensure you comply with State Government protocols.
These protocols are designed to minimise the opportunities for transmission of COVID-19 and to maximise the chances of Victorian cricket being able to complete our season.
Having a quality COVID-19 plan will help Associations and Clubs meet these challenges.
Cricket Victoria encourage all Clubs and Associations to use the editable COVID-19 plan.
This plan will continue to be updated as more information becomes available from the State Government. We encourage Associations and Clubs to regularly check information via Cricket Victoria, the DHHS and Sport and Recreation Victoria online resources for the latest advice.
Further versions will be released as a result of key new information.
We look forward to working with clubs and associations to deliver a COVID-safe season. Please feel free to contact us at vca@cricketvictoria.com.au any time with queries.
