Thomas was the Week 5 winner of the Cricket Victoria / Gray-Nicolls Victorian Club Cricketer of the Week competition, after taking an impressive 8-3 from just 9 overs in his club’s VTCA – North West B2 match against Footscray ANA CC.
Competing with 22 other weekly winners from across the 2016-17 season, Thomas won with over 21% of the end of season votes, which had more than 400 unique respondents.
Thomas will take home a $150 Gray-Nicolls voucher, with his club Royal Park / Brunswick CC taking home a signed Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers bat from their historic 2016-17 three-peat Sheffield Shield winning season.
Nicole Hedger took out the voter prize, and also pockets a $50 Gray-Nicolls voucher for her efforts.
