Coaches play a valuable and important role in educating and inspiring players at all levels of the game, as well as being a role model in their community.
The Victorian Cricket Coach of the Year provides a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge those who deliver on all of the above, as well as play a vital role in the health of cricket by attracting and retaining numbers, and ensuring the game is played in an appropriate manner.
The Victorian Coach of the Year Awards will acknowledge coaches in four separate categories:
– MILO in2CRICKET/T20 Blast Coach/Coordinator of the Year
– Junior Coach of the Year
– Female Coach of the Year; and
– Senior Coach of the Year
Nominations are now open, and will close at 5.00pm on Friday, May 12, 2017. Each of the individual awards has its own set of guidelines/criteria that will have on strong bearing upon who will be chosen as the eventual winner.
