Cricket Victoria Celebrates Wear It Purple Day

The aim is to celebrate, empower and promote the value of diversity and inclusion in the community and to challenge harmful cultures to help young people establish the confidence to be who they are.

Cricket Victoria hosted Em from Proud 2 Play to take staff through an ‘Introduction to LGBTQI+ Inclusion’ education session for staff and players.

This provided an opportunity for members of Cricket Victoria to further enhance their knowledge surrounding inclusive language and LGBTQI+ experiences in sport, and further demonstrates Cricket Victoria’s commitment to supporting rainbow young people. It was great to see strong engagement from all involved.

Join Cricket Victoria in supporting this global movement. Change lives. Change the world. Wear It Purple this August 26th.
