The program provides a fantastic opportunity for teachers to cover theoretical and practical information across three sporting codes in the one day, highlighting the similarities between game sense activities and the effective teaching of interchangeable skills.
Teachers can expect to explore:
The program will also address the key stages of development of primary school-aged children and their implications for teachers; development of sport specific skills; developing effective communication strategies in the sporting environment; facilitating games and activities that engage students of different ages and abilities.
