With a Test tour of India looming and back-to-back Ashes campaigns on the horizon, Victorian cricket fans will get one last chance to see the Australian side in action as they tackle the West Indies in the fifth and final match of the Commonwealth Bank Series.
As part of the entertainment, Sneaky Sound System will play at the innings break.
Among those expected to feature on Sunday include newly crowned ODI Player of the Year Clint McKay, along with Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers teammate Aaron Finch.
David Hussey also remains in contention for a recall after playing some significant hands over the course of the summer.
Despite claiming a series win at Manuka Oval earlier this week, Australian coach Mickey Arthur is adamant his side is intent to clean sweep the West Indies on home soil.
“It’s been a tough old summer for us in terms of our one-day cricket – we are a little bit topsy-turvey,” Arthur said.
“We’ve got some good momentum now, so we’re certainly not going to take our foot off the pedal at all.
“We want to win the series 5-0.”
Australia will face the West Indies at the MCG from 2.20pm AEDST on Sunday.
