Cricket Victoria launches new partnership with Edstart

Edstart is passionate about helping Australians reach their potential and will become the Supporting Partner of the Victorian Under-16 Female and Under-17 Male Emerging Performance Squads.

The Edstart logo will feature on the playing apparel for all Emerging Performance teams throughout the upcoming matches to be held across the state in early-2021.

They are also offering a chance for cricket clubs to win a ‘Return to Play’ care package including one of five Kookaburra prize packs as junior and youth teams return to the ground for the upcoming season.

Founded by a passionate team of education and finance specialists, Edstart makes education costs easier to manage for thousands of Australians with flexible payment plans to help spread large upfront school fees into more manageable payments. Their goal is to help people to fund their education in a sustainable, flexible and low-cost manner.

Edstart Chief Executive Jack Stevens is excited about the new partnership with Cricket Victoria.

“We’re thrilled to be supporting the cricket community and play a role in helping find, nurture and support the state’s best cricket talent as part of the Pathway Programs,” he said.

“We look forward to a long-term investment in the next generation of cricketers in Victoria.”

Cricket Victoria Chief Executive Andrew Ingleton welcomed the partnership.

“We’re pleased to welcome Edstart on board as a partner for the next two years. School fees are a significant part of every family budget and we’ll be working with Edstart to further expand their profile through sport,” Ingleton said.

“Together we can connect families with the opportunities available to them. Just as we’re proud of cricket striving to be accessible for all, we’ll be working with Edstart to take the same approach to education.”
