To get into the spirit of the Cricket World Cup, students and teachers are to host a Cricket Coulors Day by wearing their favourite team’s colours or dressing as their favourite player or painting their faces or any other way to show support.
Cricket Victoria is offering the following prizes to the school that best represents the World Cup spirit:
First Prize: A clinic at your school with 1 Australian male and 1 Australian female cricketer.
Second prize: Two schools will win a cricket kit valued at $400 each.
To enter the competition you need to post a photo on Twitter or Instagram showing how your school has celebrated the Cricket World Cup and include your school name along with the hashtag #cricketcoloursday. The competition will be open from 9:00am-6:00pm on Friday, February 13.
